Chad E. Lavoie, 50, of Turner, Maine, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Turner at home with his wife and children by his side Born on November 17, 1975, in Lewiston, Maine, Chad lived a life defined by dedication to his family and passions.
For over two decades, Chad worked at PDI of Auburn, Maine, where he earned admiration for his commitment and honesty. His strong work ethic and reliability were evident in every aspect of his professional and personal life.
Chad is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Dani Lavoie; his children Tazz Lavoie and Tazz’s wife Sabrina Mitchell, Jordyn Lavoie, Serena Heintzelman and her husband Richard Heintzelman, Addison Marden, Bryce Marden, and Austin Lavoie. He is also survived by his father Norman Lavoie; stepfather Mark Wing; seven siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Rolande Wing; grandparents Barbara and Roland Hatifield; nephew Matthew Lavoie; and daughter Brittany A. Stanhope.
Chad found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing and spending time outdoors on dirt bikes and four-wheelers. Camping trips with family and friends brought him immense happiness—creating cherished memories filled with laughter and connection. Known for his sense of humor and love of coffee, Chad had a special way of brightening the lives of those around him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 27th, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at Tot Lot in Auburn, Maine. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Chad’s memory and share stories about the impact he had on their lives.
