Biography:

Mary J. (DeSena) Zarbo, formerly of North Haven, Connecticut; now of West Gardiner, Maine, passed away on July 4^th, 2016 in Augusta after a brief illness. She was born in New Haven Connecticut on November 23^rd, 1926 to parents Ballasarre and Josephine (Marra) DeSena.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Zarbo Sr; her parents; sisters Philomena DeFilippo, Ann Follo; brothers Angelo DeSena, Carlo DeSena, Joseph (Butch) DeSena, and Anthony DeSena.

Mary is survived by her children, Joseph J. Zarbo Jr. and Debra (Whitaker) Zarbo of Lakeland Florida, Angelo Robert Zarbo of Groton, CT, Carol and Sean Moran of West Gardiner, Maine (with whom she resided), and her daughter-in-law Robin Nelson Zarbo of Higganum, CT; her grandchildren, Ryan (Rebecca) Zarbo of Lakeland FL, Shannon (Kevin) Jones of Mulberry, FL, Kaitlyn Zarbo, Joshua Zarbo and Jessica Zarbo of Higganum, CT, Reilly Moran, Kelsey Moran and Erynne Moran of West Gardiner, Maine; her great grandson, Kolton Jones of Mulberry, FL; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maine General Hospice, PO Box 828, Waterville, Maine 04903-0828.
