Biography:

West Bath- Florence G. (Burnell) Weitzell, 58, of Standish, residing in West Bath, passed away at home on Sunday, December 8, 2019, surrounded by the loving arms of her family.

Florence was born on April 29, 1961, in Portland, the daughter of Paul and Helen (Harmon) Burnell. 

Florence (Flo) enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and shopping.  She was employed for many years at J. Weston Walsh Publishing Company and at Barber Foods.

Florence was predeceased by her parents Paul and Helen.

She is survived by her children; Laura Leighton and her fiancé’ Jacob, Walter Weitzell and his wife Jennifer, April Weitzell and Robert Weitzell.  She is also survived by six sisters, three brothers, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her fur-baby Augie, and several nieces and nephews.  She has a special bond with her brother Randy.

There will be a celebration of Flo’s life at a later date.
