Dr. Richard T. Warfle, age 75, beloved husband of 43 years to Dawn Marie Warfle of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, died on Friday, April
1, 2011 in Biddeford, Maine following a long illness. He was the son
of the late Georgand Marian Warfle, both longtime residents of Bridgeport,
CT. He is also
survived by his brother, Gerard Warfle of Ormond Beach, FL.
Dr. Warfle, a
historian who received his Ph.D in history from the
University of
Connecticut, held teaching positions in Connecticut,
Pennsylvania, and
Maryland.
