Biography:

SABATTUS — Stacy Lee Stevens, 47, of Sabattus, went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, May 3, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in the presence of her loving family. Stacy was born on Oct. 24, 1964, in Brunswick, to Frank Golletti and Charmaine Bagley. She was a 1983 graduate of Lisbon High School.

On March 5, 1983, Stacy married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Rocky Stevens, with whom she remained married for 29 wonderful, blessed years. She worked at McTeague Higbee of Topsham as a paralegal for more than 20 years.

As a longstanding member of Open Door Bible Baptist Church, she actively participated in the church choir and taught Sunday School. She also coached the cheerleading squad for Open Door Christian Academy. Stacy’s passion was readily manifested in her selfless, attentive care of her family and of those she loved.
