Marion E. "Ginny" Schnopp

Biography:

Auburn- Marion E. “Ginny” Schnopp, 81, of Lewiston, died on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born in Portland  on June 28, 1930.      

Ginny was in the Pine Tree Warriors, the Snow Shoe Club, and the ACME Club. She also attended Adult Education courses. 

Ginny worked at several shoe shops, she worked in the kitchen at the Multipurpose center, and at the fisheries on the piers of Portland.

She enjoyed playing bingo, going out to eat fried clams, spending time with her children and grand children, watching the Red Sox and Patriots, knitting and painting felt pictures.

Ginny was predeceased by her former husband Robert Schnopp Sr.; a sister, Patricia Godin; a nephew, Jimmy Godin,  and her loving parents, The McDonalds.

She is survived by her loving sons Bob, John, Nick and a loving daughter Robin; her brother-in-Law Robert Godin; and many grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial visitation from 4-6pm on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St. in Lewiston.  A memorial service will follow the visitation at 6pm.
