Biography:

LEWISTON-Robert H. Savard, 85, of Lewiston, went to be with his Lord on Sept. 26^th, 2012 in Lewiston.

Robert was born on March 16^th, 1927 in Lewiston, to parents Albert and Angelina Savard (Vierre)

He attended St. Peter’s School in Lewiston, and was a member of Holy Family Parish. Robert was married to Connie Labbe who has since passed. He worked at Hill Mill and Shoe Shops until retiring, and was in the US Navy in World War II.

Robert enjoyed music and was a local musician for years. He was also a member of the ACME and Pastime Club.

He is predeceased by his parents, and his wife Connie Labbe.

Robert is survived by his long-time companion Marlene Gendreau; one brother Don Savard; his daughter Marlene Bisson; four grandsons, Ray, Ron, Dave and Travis Bisson; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Androscoggin Homecare and Hospice, especially Becky as his nurse. They would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at CMMC for their care.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, oct. 1^st, 2012 at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner Street Auburn, ME
