Biography:
Polk City- Eino Rosenberg, of West Paris, ME and Polk City, FL died on May 7, 2012. He was born on January 21, 1927 at the family farm in Sumner. He was educated in Sumner schools. He worked on the family farm with his brother until he joined the service. He joined the Armed Forces during the Korean War from 1954-1956.
After returning home he went in to the logging business with his brother Jack until his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed sports, especially the Red Sox and New England Patriots. In the later years he enjoyed reading. He enjoyed going to Florida during the winter months. He was predeceased by a son Bruce Rosenberg and brother Ellis Kilponen. He is survived by his best friend and companion Sally Doughty, two sons Kevin and Randy, one daughter Michelle Aboud and several grandchildren; a brother Jack and wife Janice; a sister Sylvia and husband Tarmo; his best friends Nancy and Peter Robertson and Kathleen Richardson; Cheryl and Drew Sholl, Kirby and Caroline Sholl, Ginger and Paul Dunham and Joshua Dunham. Private services will be held at a later date.
