Stevie (Louise) Sawyer Reiche

Biography:

FALMOUTH – Stevie (Louise) Sawyer Reiche, 89, of Falmouth died on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth. She was born November 19, 1927 in Biddeford, Maine the daughter of George and Edith Ford Sawyer. Stevie attended South Portland High School for two years and the Kents Hill School for two years. After graduating from Kents Hill in 1946 she attended Chamberlain Merchandising School in Boston.

She was a third generation antique dealer for 48 years in the Portland area.
Stevie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Howard Reiche, Jr. of Falmouth; her son, Ford Reiche and his wife Karen of Freeport; her daughter, Stacey Holden and her husband Bill of North Yarmouth; a brother, Charlie and his wife Jane of Yarmouth; a brother, Payson Sawyer of Gorham; a sister-in-law and brother- in-law, Gretchen and Dick Terhune of Falmouth; five Grandchildren, Betsey Ducas, Sam Reiche, George Reiche, Reed Holden and Sarah Holden; and two Great Grandchildren, Molly Ducas and Ali Reiche.

Throughout her life she was blessed with many well-loved dogs and cats.
There will be a private family service in Gilead at a later date.
