Phyllis Ann Pulk

Biography:

After a long illness on August 29, 2017 Phyllis Ann Pulk passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family.  She was born December 22, 1946 to Phillip Landers and Leila "Freda" McPherson Landers in the town of Presque Isle, Maine. 

In 1954 the family relocated to the Lisbon Falls area where she attended local schools. In 1963 she married the love of her life Tony Pulk and together they raised their family. Throughout her life she held various jobs but her greatest pleasure and most important job was being a homemaker for her family. In 1991 she received her GED along side her sister and two daughters. 

She loved animals, dogs and hummingbirds, flowers, reading Stephen King novels, playing cards, playing video games, watching Netflix and Disney movies with her grandchildren, sledding, camp fires at night with her family and watching her morning game shows with her husband. All along she exhibited remarkable strength and endurance. She was a true fighter and remained strong and lucid to her final hours. Her greatest love by far was her family. She will be forever missed. 

She is survived by Tony Pulk of Sabattus her loving husband for 54 years. Her four children: Scott and wife Linda of Poland, ME., Michael and wife Jennifer of Bayfield, CO., Melissa of Sabattus, Lela and her significant other Chris Schools of Vassalboro.10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren who were fond of calling her GG. 2 sisters: Myrna Lausier of Meridan CT and Gayle Gould of Lisbon Falls. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Linda "Linny" Couture.

In lieu of flowers we ask you please donate to the St. Jude Cancer Society and/or American Lung Association in the name of Phyllis Pulk. We are planning a "Celebration of Life" at the property of Phyllis & Tony's on 9/23/17between the hours of 1PM - 4PM. There will be food and drinks and laughs for everyone!
