Robert Poulin

Biography:

SABATTUS-Robert Poulin, 83, of Sabattus, Me  went to be with his maker on May, 15^th 2013 at Togus VA, Me.

He was born on August 1^st, 1929 in Lewiston, Me to parents Rosario and Germaine (Royer) Poulin.

Robert was a member of the American Legion Post 132, the Beano Committee, and the Bowling League at BIW.

He enjoyed painting, playing cards, bowling, golfing and listening to gospel music. He especially loved his church family.

Robert was enlisted in the Army from 1949 to 1951 during the Korean War, and as a Military Police Officer. Robert worked as a police officer for 8 years in Southington, CT. He also worked for TRW and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in CT, and also IAM and BIW in Maine.

He was predeceased by his parents. Surviving him is his wife, Susan (Conley) Poulin; his first wife Terry; 2 daughters, Nancy Masucci and Maureen Paradis, both of CT; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters-in-law, Patricia Crowder and Karen Ranucci.

A memorial service will be held on at 1pm on Thursday, May 30^th at the First United Pentecostal Church 715 College St, Lewiston, ME. A committal service will follow at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
