Norma McDonald

Biography:

Topsham-Norma McDonald, 76, of the Middlesex Rd, died on March 8, 2016 at her home.  

She was born on April 17, 1939 in Bowdoinham, the daughter of Leland and Frances Benner. 

Norma loved teaching and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. 

She worked as an elementary school teacher in Brunswick for 25 years, and then owned and operated Nana’s Apron Strings Nursery School in Bowdoinham for 10 years.  

Norma was predeceased by her parents and husband Edward S. McDonald. 

She is survived by her son, Dale McDonald and family of Nashua, New Hampshire; daughter Kelly Kellett and family of Topsham; sister, Sandra Beaudoin and family of East Waterboro; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be announced in the spring.
