Biography:
Scarborough – Leroy H. MacCormack, 83, of Randolph, passed away on September 19th, 2010 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House with his loving family by his side.
He was born on July 29th, 1927 in Portland, the son of Charles and Agnes (Hall) MacCormack.
Leroy attended Westbrook schools and then went on to take engineering courses in Massachusetts, receiving a bachelor degree in engineering. He worked for the State of Maine for 30 years. After retiring from the State he worked as an engineer for the Town of Saco. He also worked for F.E.M.A. for several years.
He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley; daughter Pamela Twombly; son Thomas MacCormack; grandson Robert Twombly; granddaughter Jennifer Twombly; and great-granddaughter Haley Sprague. He was predeceased by his son Charles MacCormack.
Graveside services will be held privately. In his memory, donations can be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Road, Scarborough, ME 04074.
