Biography:

Ross Allen Leavitt, 59, of Auburn, Maine, passed away suddenly at Central Maine Medical Center on the morning of Saturday, July 20, 2013.

 

He was born in Limestone, Maine on January 20, 1954 to his mother Hilda and father Alton Leavitt. For 34 years he worked as a Case Manager for the State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services. He served as a member of the Auburn School Board and was a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He enjoyed hunting, camping at Moosehead Lake, car shows, movies, and was an avid dog lover. Ross was very outgoing and valued making a difference in the lives of those around him.

 

He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Patricia and their daughter, Rebeccah, both of Auburn, and he is also survived by his Aunt, Sarah Seepe and her husband, William of Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

 

A memorial visitation will be held for friends and family at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn, Maine on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 5pm to 7 pm.
