Biography:

Augusta- Freeda Kathleen (Hall) LaRochelle, 71, died in Augusta on July 21, 2012.

Freeda was born on November 07, 1940, the daughter of Charles Dewey Hall and Frances Edna (Freeman) Hall. 

Freeda worked for the Navy Dept. in Washington D.C., the U.S. Postal Service, and was self-employed; running LaRochelle Painting Co. for 42 years.

She was an avid gardener, seamstress, and woodworker.  She also enjoyed shopping at Marden’s .

Freeda was predeceased by her husband Donald Lionel LaRochelle, her father Charles Dewey Hall, and her brother Scott Alan Hall.

She is survived by her daughters; Jacqueline Freida LaRochell of Augusta, Lorraine Brenda (LaRochelle) Cressey and her husband David Allen Cressey of Phippsburg, ME, grandchildren; Matthew Donald Cressey and  Emily Ann Cressey of Phippsburg, ME and Joshua Logan Cressey of Hawaii, her mother Frances Edna Hall of Gaty City, VA, her sister Doris Hall Darnell of Ft. Blackmore, VA, her brothers; Charles Gary Hall and family of Church Hill, TN, Virgil Gerald Hall and family of Morristown, TN, and  Richard Marcel Hall and wife of Ft. Blackmore, VA.  Freeda is also survived by her mother-in-law Muriel Marie Giroux, and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Family and friends can pay their respects on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 1pm to 4pm at the family home, 26 Patrick St., Augusta, ME.
