Biography:

Matthew R. Fournier, age 35, of Saco passed away on July 4, 2016 surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 4, 1981 to Ted and Sue Fournier of Buckfield. He attended Buckfield schools and was an active member of Living Hope Church in Portland, where he was recently baptized. Matt enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his 2 daughters. Matthew also kept busy with various food service jobs over the years. Matt is predeceased by his father, Ted. Survived by 2 daughters, 10 year old McKayla and 7 year old Hannah, mom Sue, 2 sisters, Sherry and husband Bill, Tammy and fiancé Brendan, 2 brothers, Doug and wife Stacy, TJ and wife Alicia, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to his "copilot" Rick and the rest of his church family. A celebration of life will be held on 7/23/16 at 3 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church in Turner, Me. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Androscoggin Hospice House or the American Cancer Society.
