Biography:

Brunswick-Lolita Devoe Cyr, formally of Caribou,passed away April 16, 2016 at a Brunswick hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Lolita was the only child of the late Alfred and Alta Smith Devoe, born on September 4, 1936 in Caribou. She was a graduate of Caribou High School Class of 1954. Lolita worked as a bookkeeper for many years in the Caribou area and later retired after 16 years as an employee for the State of Maine.
Lolita enjoyed reading, knitting, cribbage and doing crossword puzzles in ink! She loved all animals, especially her cat Allie.
Lolita is survived by her 4 children who will miss her dearly.
Rick and Pam Cyr of Orrington, Maine. Dean and Georgette Cyr of Virginia Beach, VA. Darlene and Don Emmons of Hampden, Maine. Lynn Cyr and her partner Nina A. Thiboutot of Brunswick, Maine.
Four grandchildren, Douglas Cyr, Amanda Brown, Nathan Cyr and Joshua Cyr.
Seven great grandchildren: Gabrielle, Madison, Kayson, Jacob, Chloe, Isaiah and Andrew.
Her step sister Marjorie Cram and her partner Sue Piper of Augusta.
Lolita leaves behind a very special companion of 40 years, Elery Walton of Caribou and all her friends at Pejepscot Terrace in Brunswick.
Abiding by her wishes there will be no funeral service. Lolita will be buried in Caribou at a later date.
