Biography:

Ronald A. Bureau—Lewiston—Ronald A. Bureau, passed away on August 1, 2017 at the age of 73 at Clover Health Care in Auburn. He was born December 30, 1943 to Noel and Annette Durocher Bureau. On July 31, 1965 he married the love of his life, Pauline LaBonte. They settled in Auburn and raised their two daughters. Ron retired from VIP in 2012. His greatest pleasure later in life was his two grandchildren and his grand-puppy Roxy. Ron loved to dote on them and they would play games for hours. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pauline Bureau; daughters, Karen Plourde and husband Michael and Lisa Bureau; grandchildren, Megan Janosco and husband Matthew and Derek Plourde; his sister Claudette Marcoux and husband Normand. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Clare Place at Clover Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ron's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 383 U.S. Route One, Suite 2C, Scarborough, Maine 04074. Services will be private.
