The memory of Lois will always be with me and our many mutual friends. Her caring and generosity extended to many humans who were needy. Friends who were grief stricken, sick, or in personal crisis benefited by her wisdom and concern. And when necessary we comforted her. The fire in Catonsville comes to mind.
Lois had communication skills that healed; she frequently with eyes misting over, imparted a good sense of humor and incredible optimism to those in crisis. Even the animals like the blind dog, and Ziggie the cat she treated with extraordinary affection. We were all blessed to have known her. To her family, our deepest sympathy, from Elizabeth and Frank Calia.
