December 5, 2021 | Danny Parker - Palm Beach, Florida -- America

My deepest heartfelt condolences to my dear cousins, families and friends at the loss of their beloved mother, grandmother- and my Aunt Peggy—

Have many warm Childhood memories of visiting the farm with their uncle Bud and Sally and sitting around the big kitchen drinking coffee and laughing hysterically for hours- such lovely moments- your mom always had an amusing story about the hospital to share.

I hope the warm and loving memories that you have of your mom and dad will warm your heart and help relieve some of the pain of your loss

With love always,

Danny

Aunt Peggy was a warm-hearted, direct person with a sense of fun. Visiting her at the farm in Greene was always a high point for me whenever I was back home. Aunt Peggy used to babysit me and now that I'm closing in on 70 that was really a while back. She was a link to a world gone by. I was at her wedding to Uncle Bill.
She was beautiful.
Aunt Peggy always seemed very contemporary and „with it“ Her advice and support while I was recovering from a car accident helped me get better.
The book of easy crossword puzzles that she gave me in the hospital was a godsend.
Aunt Peggy was never stuffy but rather a woman who commanded respect.
She enriched my life and I sorely miss her.
May she rest in Peace.

Peggy ,my friend, we’ve known each other 50+ years every time I think of you I remember the first time we meant, I was orienting you to ICU at CMG hospital and I guess you really got initiated. We could laugh years later but wasn’t a laughing matter then.
It has been great working with you in the ER. We all worked together really well. A great team we were we could tell what was going on just by the tone of our voices.
It was also great having our monthly lunches, reminiscing and talking old times and people we worked with. You will be surely missed by all and certainly by me. I love you Peg. Rest In Peace. 🥰

To my friends that didn’t know my Gram I would always mention her nursing career and, while I was never a patient, I would describe I felt she might have been that stereotypical gruff, seasoned nurse you often see in TV or movies. I would follow it up with she may appeared like that to some, but was truly a softy with a dry, subtle humor. Unless you beat her in cribbage, which then you might see some true saltiness. JK Gram. Her style of humor was one of the things I loved most about her. Not always visible, but ever present just beneath her surface. I would often, in a loving way, ‘poke the bear’ just to get a rise out of her and I always knew it was fair game when she’d give me little wink after she’d dish it right back to me or sometimes my mom when the occasional called for it. These little interactions are what I’ll miss most about my Gram. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Love you Gram.

What a wonderful woman Peggy was. An inspiration when I first started working with her in the ER. Always kind and helpful. Loved her sense of humor. We enjoyed knitting stories and I made many Christmas stockings for her family. It was always great to see her at our monthly lunches. She will be and is sadly missed.

I will miss my friend Peggy. We shared many experiences in the past years. Some were mundane, some bizarre, some heart wrenching and some hysterically funny. No matter the circumstance, we seemed to connect. That was one of the things I loved about Peg. I also loved her sense of humor and her laughter. She had the knack of making people feel they were funny and enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong, if it was deserved, she could let you know in few words that you were being a pain in the azzz.
Peggy adored her family and would keep me updated on their latest accomplishments, plans and adventures.
Peg’s favorite holiday was Thanksgiving and every year, I give thanks that I count her among my friends.
I love you, my friend and I will miss you. Rest peacefully.
