Hilda and you frequently come up in conversation, and of course the highlight of the conversation is when the story is told of how Hilda always reminded me that I peed on her couch.

My deepest sympathies to you Mr. Townsend on the passing of your wonderful wife Hilda. I remember one evening coming home to visit she welcomed me into your home for a visit. She was a kind and loving person with an awesome smile.

I think she always enjoyed when your students would come to visit.

Hilda was a constant presence in my life over the last 39 years. Although she was not a blood relative she was always considered family. "Aunt" Hilda had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile. Her warm and generous personality made every encounter with her fun. I believe she is in heaven with many cats, looking down on us from above with a huge smile!
