We feel fortunate that we were able to visit with Roger a few days before his passing. He was in good spirits and talked a lot about his life and his family. Joan teased him a little bit and got him laughing. Roger was a very brave man, and talked openly about his terminal illness. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. For Joan, seeing Roger was like taking a trip into the past, and they enjoyed remembering all the fun they had as children in the old neighborhood on Montello street. Our condolences to the family at this time of sadness. Roger's memory will forever live in our hearts.

Even though I only knew you for a couple of years you loved me and treated me as if I was family. I sure am going to miss you stopping by to visit Scott and I and all of us sitting on the deck listening to all of your stories. We love you so much Uncle Roger and you will forever be in our hearts. I gained two loving beautiful guardian angels this past month. If you run in to my Nana say hi to her for me and tell her I love her. I love you lots, but I know....not as much as you love me. Rest in peace Uncle Roger xoxo
