Jeb was always a friend through the years we grew up.Cub scouts boy scouts confirmation at the Community Church,and early days of surfing at Gilgo Beach.We lost touch over the years.Sorry for your loss.And I shall always turn to the sea,and the life beneath her surging depths.Be Well,ZACK

Jeb was my friend for a very long time. We planted a seed a many years ago to do a book on the fishing community. After working on this for 15 years, our dream became a reality and he and his close friend, Richard Holt, graced the cover of "Down the Shore", a tribute to Maine's working fishermen and women. It was an honor to be Jeb's friend-he was kind, funny,smart and an intelligent soul. He will be missed so very much...so happy our lives touched in this lifetime.

Our family knew Jeb since the Coast Guard days.It makes me sad to know that I will not be seeing that smile face to face any more; however, I will always remember it in my heart. I always liked spotting his vessel here in Portland Harbor.Keeping his family in our prayers.
