Joy Dodge told me of Jocey's passing on Sunday when I was at Shaws. I was dumbfounded and so deeply saddened. What memories of our times both at Le Garage and at your home on Federal Street. I am so sorry to have missed attending the celebration of her life - but assure you that I have and do continue to celebrate her life in my heart and am sending much love to each and all of you! Shep

I unfortunately did not know Jocey, but learned just recently that we are third cousins on our mothers' side. I simply wanted to express my deepest sympathies and condolences to her entire family. Reading of her life makes it clear she will be deeply missed by many, and that she accomplished a great deal in too short of a time. I regret not being able to meet her, but I look forward to gathering at some point with the many people who loved her so very much.

August 31, 2017 | Paul Lusty - Portland, ME -- USA

Dear Larry and Madison,

I am so very sorry to learn of Jocey's passing. She was an unbelievably upbeat, strong, smart, warm and good person. I loved her sense of humor. I have the utmost respect for her and you both. A heroic family.

I will always remember the morning she drove Rick Clark (BIW Cost Analyst) to the ER in Bath (back when there was one) as he was having chest pains and then a heart attack. She would not take no for answer from Rick. She saved his life.

Will miss her.

God bless to you all.

Paul Lusty

August 30, 2017 | Scott Stupinski - Melrose, MA -- USA

My most heartfelt condolences for the Cooper and Stover families who have lost one special person. Like many of us have experienced, Jocey touched our lives in her own special way, whether it be a smile, a kind word, encouragement or one of the homemade delicacies. We will truly miss her but her spirit will live on through Madison and Larry. God bless you all during this most difficult time.

Jocey left life way too early. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. I have such fond memories of our "Le" days, and canoeing on the Sheepscott, partying with friends and family and just plain having fun!Rest in peace dear friend.

Jocey - You had the kindest heart and beautiful soul. You welcomed me into the team at BIW with open arms and a willingness to share all you knew and I am so grateful to have been able to get to know you. We shared many laughs (and many lunches) and I think of that often. You were a top notch mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend and there will forever be a gap in many people's lives with your passing, but we will hold onto the many wonderful memories and think of your awesome smile and laugh. You fought so hard. Rest in peace, dear Jocey.

My deepest condolences to Jocelyn's family, especially Larry & Madison. I knew Jocelyn through her financial adviser and former employer Custom Electronics. We connected right away and formed a good working relationship. I also found out that when she worked for BIW before Custom Electronics that she had been through the training department with my sister, giving us even more to gap about. I so enjoyed our conversations and was sorry to hear that her cancer come out of remission in 2012. She told me she hoped to get another 10 years. Cancer has taken the lives of far too many people and it is so sad to hear that Jocelyn has passed. She will always be remembered by me as a caring, smart, hard working, beautiful and passionate person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

August 29, 2017 | Lisa and Steve - Dresden, ME -- USA

You will be sadly missed Jocey. I have very fond memories of the trips we took when I worked at BIW and the many chats we had over our glass of wine. Your spirit will always live on through all the friendships you formed and all you did for many.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family - your wife, mother, sister, daughter was an absolutely amazing person.
