We plan to have Marion's Celebration of Life gathering at 29 Blake Hill Rd in Mt. Vernon on Friday, June 29th starting at 11:00 am. It will be a potluck, and you are welcome to invite anyone who knew Marion and would like to participate. There will be some kind of music and storytelling. We will post more details in mid-June.

I so enjoyed taking care of Marion. So sorry for the family loss.

In addition to her many accomplishments Marion had a lovely singing voice and played the piano. I loved listening to her singing harmonies with my sisters at home and later with Ted.

I don’t know how many other young people she might have mentored but her appreciation of the arts and her encouragement made a huge difference to me. She took me to my first museum and gave me art supplies. I'm presently learning to weave and think of her often during the process. I treasure the pieces she made for me.
