My condolences to you, Carol and family. I am thankful that I could share a little of Howard's life. He was a Christian male mentor to me. We first met at Hank Sherman's Eagle Scout ceremony at Chatham park. We shared Boy Scouting for over 15 years, camping together and helping young boys to become adult men. Howard was a role model to many young men.
We also shared Kiwanis where we provided services to others. Howard will always be remembered as the man who gave his life in the service of others. Many people's lives were made better by his service.
I confidently say that he is with God now. Thank you and God Bless.
