So sorry to learn of my cousin's passing. She was much too young. Although we spent a lot of time together growing up, I had not seen her in years. Every time I passed through on Minot Avenue in Auburn, I wondered where she lived.
It was good to learn what she did during her life, and how important she was in her profession and her family.

I met Yvonne (Vonnie) in the early 1970s at Auburn Maine School of Commerce, where we were both students. She was a "dormie" and I was a "townie", but it was a small school, and everybody became friends. Although we weren't close, we both followed the same career path, in law offices, and saw each other occasionally around town. She always greeted me as if I was her long-lost best friend. In recent years, I discovered that she and Scott lived next door to another of my longtime friends (and former sister-in-law). Every time I saw her in their yard, there was the huge smile and "how are you doing!" She loved life, loved the people around her, and will be deeply missed. “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” - Maya Angelou

I worked with Yvonne for 25 years. She was the best co-worker anyone could have ever asked for. As busy as she was, she was always there to help. She stayed above the fray and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was one of a kind. I'm sure there is much joy in heaven at her arrival. Love you my dear friend.
