Aunt Sadie was such a wonderful, caring and kind person and we are all so fortunate to have known her and enjoyed her company. She will remain in our hearts forever.

Oh sweet,sweet mom of mine. My heart aches without you. I so will miss that sheer joy and smile on your face when I brought in Labadies donuts and coffee. What I would give to have just one more day like that with you. I would sit longer, I would listen to the sound of your voice telling me your stories...my ear would be far keener. I would hug you closer and drink in the scent of your soft delicate skin. Sitting on the couch holding your hand would be so so much more. My mind is flooded with all those hands did. You cooked all those scrumptious meals,tucked your 7 little darlings into bed and held us close not only in times of joy but in our heartaches of lifes lessons. What I would do to have one more of those hugs right now. I want to thank you for giving me a great life...I want to thank you for putting into me those gifts that were in you. Kindness,humbleness graciousness, honesty, love and simple humor.Im going to miss that. You did a good job mom. You fought hard the last bit...you fought that fight with every ounce of the lady you were. You make me a better person everyday and that I will never stop thanking you for. My words elude me as there are no words ever to express the love in my heart for you. Rest in peace beautiful mom and hug dad for me. Love, Linda

To Sarah's family~ I am so very sorry for your loss. Sarah could always make us laugh so hard. I will always always remember our many road trips and the time she jumped off a chair as if she were 20 catching us all off guard and she did it so well... it made us laugh so hard we were in tears. My deepest sympathies to all the family. I am a friend of dear Mamie. I was with her when she got the sad news of Sadie’s passing. I was glad to be with her to lend her a little comfort. I know Sadie will be missed by many people. May you hold onto all your fond memories.
