Chris was an important influence on my children, Dawn and Tim through her religious education classes and drawing out their thinking processes regarding spiritual matters. I will not forget the influence she had on my children and the influence both she and Brad had on my family here at the UU Society of Laconia, NH. It was Rev Mitchell who drew Hank out in a Coming of Age Ceremony. Tim is still an Unitarian and active in the Unitarian church of Swampscott, MA.

She was a good friend and one interested in whole foods before that became a fad. I am so sorry that I was not able to say goodbye to her. She had and unforgettable smile and strong intellect which I respected.

Dear Mitchell Family,
I was so sad to see Christine’s obituary in the local paper. What a loss!!! Ian and Rebecca, your Mom was such a great person! I loved her enthusiasm when we put up the annual art exhibit at the Lisbon Town Library!!! Also, her energetic participation in her children’s education at LHS! Her constant smile will never be forgotten!!!! What a positive, upbeat person!!! She made the world a better place by being in it!!!
