I, at this very moment, saw that Claude had died in 2017, and even though I’m four years late sending condolences, please know that I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to the family. I was always sorry that Claude was never able to get back to our high school reunions.
I will always remember watching Claude outrunning everyone on the football field.
He was a leader among leaders. Thank you for your service old friend.

To all of Claude's family and friends, I send my deepest condolences to you.
I went to the same schools in Knoxville, that Claude went to and graduated with him at Fulton High School, Class of 1962.
When we heard the news, my brother said to me "I remember when Claude ran the 100 yard dash and blew everybody else away"!
He was a great athlete and student, as well as everybody's friend.
We, who knew him as children, will be forever sad that he is gone....even though we all have to go at one time or another.
