Dear Cindy and family....I am so sorry for your loss. John was a wonderful man, who I respected so much. He always stood for what he believed in and never judged others based on anyone elses point of view or thoughts. He had such a way with children, and their faces would always light up when they saw him. God bless you all....

My sympathies to John's mother, sisters, wife, children, and all the many family members and friends. I knew John when he was little. I lost touch with John, as we grew up, but stayed in touch with his sister Linda and more recently sister Karen. I remember John (we called him 'Johnny' then) as a cute and fascinating little boy and as the little brother of my close friend, Linda, and her younger sister, Karen. May John Rest on Peace. May the family be comforted by happier memories and the support of one another and friends.

I'm very sorry to hear of Johns passing I didn't know that he had been ill. I ran into him at the grocery store late this summer and had a quick talk about music and such and as always John was his humble low key self. The world needs more like him.

Johnny Mac was a consummate musician and I enjoyed performing with him on occasion. Even more enjoyable were the talks we had each month when School St came to the Higher Grounds. A very gentle and funny guy, and I enjoyed seeing him with Cindy and the very natural and loving way they were together. John will be be missed by many, and it was nice having him with us, even for too short a time.

We'll sure miss you John. I have a snapshot of Craig Record, Rog Sampson, Wayne Whitman, Archie, myself, and John playing at the Weathervane about 16 years ago on my studio wall. These pictures take on new meanings as we lose our talented friends - Heaven is forming quite a band ~ Rest easy friend.
