Frank will always have a special place in our hearts. He was so kind to my folks and they loved having him drop-in in the evenings to sit quietly with them and catch them up on his life.
We will alway remember with great respect how much we could depend upon him to keep council. Greg asked him to hide our car,and bring it to us for a get-away after our wedding. We knew that Frank would keep this secret.
The memories are so old--going back to the 1950's, of visits, college, farm talk, cow talk, mutual friends, kindness, gentleness, frienship.

I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Frank during the last few years, and I'm sure that makes some people chuckle. His gruff exterior never intimidated me. His somtimes outspoken (even abrasive) words never deterred me from wanting to know him. They were never aimed at me. I made him smile as he also made me smile. He was my go-to-guy about my flowers and I was even able to talk him into helping me in the flowerbeds at Clover. He pointed and I worked. I knew his faults and issues, but none of it mattered. I used to be one of the drivers at Clover that took him to his appointments and even spent my own time with him getting him around. He hated it when I would kiss his cheek (and yes I did), but I would see the smirk when I walked away. It was definitely MY pleasure to know Frank,and I will sadly miss him. My condolances to all.
