December 11, 2014 | Brigitte Whitten - Lewiston, ME -- United States

My heart hurt for my cousin and her family and Tyson's dad and his family also. I have so many happy memories of Tyson and Dustin from when I lived with them and babysat them. The pillow fights in the living room singing and dancing to music that was so very different from their parents taste but hey I was 16 and listened to KC"s top 40 so ya they sang and danced to 80's music.I know is is also so very hard for my Irene just know that you are all loved and in our prayers.I know he was welcomed by all his family in heaven he is at peace and running free of all pain. we love you Tyson and will miss you.

Words can not express how one feels at such terrible trying times. I choose to remember him as the funny little brat that i used to babysit. :) The truly innocent times. Linda my heart aches for you and all of you that have been hurt by this. You are a very strong woman and God is not forgetting you or punishing you, he is teaching you and all of us how a mother's love is truly an amazing thing to behold, as even death can not severe your love for your beloved children. I admire your courage and your strength. I love you <3 Corinna and Tadd xoxoxoxoxoxox

December 9, 2014 | Mike and Betty Butler - Dade City , Florida -- USA

David,so very sorry for your loss of Tyson, we certainly know how you feel. It is a pain that never goes away, we just somehow have to learn to live with it. Please know we would have been there to say good bye but we winter in Florida now and aren't able to make it. I know you are still in shock and in a few weeks this reality is going to hit you like a brick wall. Reach out to people, talk about him, share your memories, it helps start the healing process. Don't hide your pain from others, it only makes the grief worse. I truly hope you know you were a great dad, you did everything you could, and nothing you did or didn't do would change anything. He is with the Lord now, safe and no more problems. Take comfort you had him in your life for as long as you did and that he will never be forgotten. Stay strong for Tyson would want you to. Take care and God Bless. Praying for you and Dustin, Mike & Betty Butler

So many things about your death make me absolutely furious, Tyson. However, your dad is right, they can't hurt you anymore.

So many memories of you rocking out at local shows... the time you were hanging from the rafters at a basement show and pulled the plug and left us all in the dark... LOL... lots of good memories and fun times were had. So sad to hear another friend has left us. RIP Tyson, you will be missed~

I can't say I'm completely shocked by the news, Tyson, but I am deeply heartbroken. We may have had our differences over the years, but I loved you like a brother, and you'll always be in my thoughts. I hope you've found peace, and are able to watch over your kids from wherever you may be.

December 9, 2014 | Kevin and Margery Buck - Bass Harbor, Maine -- Hancock

Tyson helped us to build our house. There was nothing he wouldn't do! He had this ability to tackle any job and get it done. He was a mountain of a man!
He loved life, and his family. He worked hard to provide for them.
He was our friend, and we will miss him.
You can rest in peace now, Tyson.

So shocked, and sorry to hear of your passing Tyson. Have always had fond memories of our times in High School and on the Soccer team. You and Tim wanting to snag a cookie from the box I baked for the team one year, working on History homework together. I still have the original picture from the yearbook for the Soccer team our graduating year. You were well hidden in the back behind Alithea Banikiotes and standing next to Coach Cross- where you could be kept out of mischief, LOL.
You were always smiling and upbeat. Your smile and your warmth will be missed. I pray that your family can find comfort in this time from each other, and from those of us who knew you once upon a time.
