So sorry to hear that Bob has passed. I have the fondest memories of him in my life. He was the utmost gentleman and always kind and loving to me. He gave me the gift of the love of sailing. I have nothing but wonderful memories of the all of the summers we spent at the house on New Meadows River with the whole family and the years spent with him in Millis. I still to this day, when sailing comes up in any conversation, talk about the days sailing on the New Meadows River and the open ocean. He was a wonderful person, spectacular sailor and always will hold a special place in my heart. Sail on Bob MacKinnon. I send my deepest sympathies to the MacKinnon family. I hope fond memories will carry you through this difficult time.

Bob was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor, was always a gracious host and a very good friend. He and I talked frequently about anything boat related. He will be very much missed.
