January 6, 2024 | Nicholas Weber - Saco, ME -- USA

During the time when her best friend dated my dad and every visit made to her place, she always made us feel welcomed and appreciated to be accompanied by people that cared about her and those she cared about more than herself. She was an wonderful person and before her friend and my dad broke up sometime after her death, she always made us happy, grateful, and energetic because despite her veteran status, she still continued to be the best, optimistic selfless individual I’ve known in my life and even after her death and my dad not being together with one her friends anymore, she always have a place in my heart as a god mother, selfless, optimistic, and generous person to be anyone’s god mother. May your soul rest in peace Vikki and I shall see you again eventually in the next life or the afterlife.

Very sadden to hear of Vikki’s passing. She was a great friend in middle and high school, which continued on as we left for the Army. Prayers for her family and friends.

Bekka, I cannot imagine the way your heart is breaking right now. I'm sorry I can't be there but please know I am sending you my "bear hugs" even knowing that will never heal the pain. I am SO sorry.

April 27, 2022 | Cierra Varnell - Orlando, Florida -- USA

Vikki was the one of the most amazing people I have ever met. Upon meeting her, she instantly became a motherly figure in my life; Like she was for many others. She always welcomed me with loving arms, listening ears & words of advice. Vikki was such a strong women. A woman who was never afraid to speak her mind, even if you weren’t going to like it. Her smile and laughter being so contagious that even on the worst days, she would crack a smile out of you. She was the calm to the storm, the sunshine on cloudy days. Vikki was so caring, she would give you the sweater off of her back, (which she literally did so many times for me when I would come to visit). She could take the worst situation and always find something positive in it. Above all, she was the best grandmother to my son, Jameson. Even living on the other end of the country, she played an active roll in his daily life. My heart is broken, & she is so deeply missed. It was such an honor to have her in our lives. My sincerest condolences to the family & everyone who had the opportunity to be a part of her life.

Rest easy beautiful! So many memories over the 18 years. Thanks for all the wonderful memories from watching James and Abby learn to walk to senior pictures and a few hello shots in between. You will never be forgotten.

April 27, 2022 | Deanna Dalton - Portland, OR -- United States

I served with Vikki in the Army. She was my friend from the "other Portland". We reconnected a couple years ago on Facebook. I am grateful we got to see each other's lives even if from afar. I am shocked to hear of her passing and am sending her family so much love and peace as they navigate this incredible loss. See you in Valhalla, Vikki.
