Greetings to all -
I am sad for this news, and sad to be missing the gathering today.
Bob and I shared many good times when we were part of the Phippsburg Congregational UCC church, and I have many good memories.
Holding you all in the Light,
Mark

My condolences to all of Bob's family. I knew and worked with Bob years ago. I respected him and considered him a friend as well as a colleague. He was a very good man with a good heart.

I had the pleasure of working with Bob when he was the Advocate at the Augusta Mental Health Institute. I recall how patient he was with me, as he gave me my first tutorial in how the public mental heath system really operated. He was an insightful teacher. I loved his wry sense of humor.
Thank you, Bob. Rest in Peace.

I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Bob through our partnership between the Maranacook Student Health Center and Community Counseling... I will always remember his smile, the twinkle in his eye, and his sense of humor ❤️

I was in Bob’s class at Amherst. Bob was a wonderful person. What a loss.

Bob is a tribute to and for us all. My favorite memories of Bob involve the expression in his eyes when, during a seemingly serious moment, brewing in his mind was a sharp, intelligent, witty and perfectly timed comment needing to be said.
I thank him for the gift of that mind and humor, and I thank him for introducing me to his wonderful wife Judi and their shared amazing adult children. I am better for each and every interaction with you all.
Hugs and soothing care, Michele

Though we will never know its full extent, Bob touched a good many souls in his many years as a fellow adaptive ski instructor with Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation. He was patient, kind and generous with his time, always left participants feeling better and put smiles on the faces of everyone around him. And he waged the most determined and courageous battle against cancer that one could imagine—it was beyond inspiring.
I feel fortunate that we were able to make a trip to the mountain just a few weeks ago. We had a fabulous visit and the MASR crew really enjoyed seeing Bob again. It was a wonderful afternoon and a great memory to cherish.
