March 7, 2022 | Gil Doughty - PORTLAND, ME -- United States

I'm very sorry to hear that Bryan passed away in 2011. We rearranged our "cat room" yesterday and I happened to read the label on the bottom of our "cat tree," R6MEOWS.

I wanted to get a new cat tree because we really dig the one we have have. The cats do as well... with their CLAWS! Bryan's creation has been greatly loved by our cats. It sounds like that would have made him very happy.

I'm sorry for your loss. Even though I never met Bryan personally, he sounds like a very kind and caring man. Rest assured we will never get rid of our cat tree and it will continue to be enjoyed by generations of cats for years to come.

April 21, 2013 | Doggie Dooz (Ryan & Judy) - Auburn, Maine -- United States

We were concerned for Brian the last time he brought Chelsea in for grooming. We are very sorry for your loss. Brian was a very talented sweet person and he will be missed greatly.

March 24, 2012 | Jennifer Chabot - Greene, ME -- USA

My thoughts and prayers are with Bryan's family. Though I only knew Bryan through school, he was an incredible classmate that brightened the lives of everyone around him. He'll certainly be missed.

December 6, 2011 | Dr. Richard & Rachel Nadeau - Lewiston, ME -- USA

Denise,
May your days be touched with joy and may cherished memories bring you comfort and peace. It was a pleasure to have known Bryan.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. With our deepest sympathy.

December 6, 2011 | Patty - Belgrade, ME -- USA

Since I saw Bryan at the Hospice house, I have had a Libby Roderick verse in my mind.
"Some nights my heart lies heavy, weary of the road. Like an old cat whose decided he can not get up and go. So he lies there looking helpless in the middle of the road. Some nights my heart lies heavy in the road."
I knew Bryan for only a short time. My cats benefitted greatly from his generous gifts. When I saw him last he appeared ready to go. Denise I pray that soon you and all who loved Bryan will see his presence in all of creation. Meow

December 6, 2011 | Paul Scalzone - Thomaston, ME -- USA

I enjoyed a unique bond with Bryan, and was able to visit with him and Denise the evening before he passed away. I first met Bryan in February, 2004, when he convinced me to accept him into a training program which I felt was beneath his abilities and time. That was Bryan. Always eager to take advantage of an opportunity to increase his skills and marketability. Many of us know how far Bryan had come with his education and personal achievements; how much he cared for others; his passion for the humane treatment of animals; and his love of life, which he struggled so hard to hang on to. Bryan was a good person and we all became better people as a result of his presence in our lives.

December 6, 2011 | Deb - Augusta, ME -- USA

Bryan,
Thank you for being such a generous, compassionate soul. The world has been lightened by your presence.

Denise, sending you warm wishes and blessings. May you find comfort and peace amidst those who love you.

You are in my thoughts and prayers, Deb

November 30, 2011 | Betty Faunce - Norway, Maine -- USA

I am very sad that you couldn't stick around longer to help cats and make your amazing cat trees, but I'm sure the cats in heaven would love a few of your trees.
I'll miss talking to you and your quirky sense of humor. It was my pleasure to have known you.

November 30, 2011 | Jerry Blodgett - Topsham & Lewiston, Maine -- USA

Denise -
My sincere condolences for your loss.

November 29, 2011 | Kris Wilner - Grenwood, Maine -- US

Although I'm sad to know you're gone, I know that there are big plans for you elsewhere. Please say hello to Catapult and Peekaboo for me- I know they're waiting at the Rainbow Bridge with all the rest of your furry family. Thank you, Bryan, for all you did to make this world a much better place.
