Dear Holly and Family, there are no words to express my sorrow for your loss. Chuck was a giving man who loved life and his family and a wonderful Pop to his grandchildren. I always appreciated his kindness to my son. Although it doesn't feel like it now, it will get easier as time goes on. You may find yourself talking to him as I do mine. Chuck is out of his pain and in a better place. You are in my prayers.

Chuck has been fixing my vehicles since I was a young teenager. Sometimes Chuck would even pick out the vehicle for me to purchase and knew I could only spend so much to get it stickered and drivable so he always without exception made it happen. I think Chuck was a mechanic because he loved helping others, I always seen him helping others and he helped me more times than I can count.
When I was going to college in Portland back in the winter of 1998, it was a blizzard and my vehicle wouldn't start, early morning around 7am, I called Chuck. He rushed right over fixed what was broken on my piece of Shh and told me to get to school before I was late. In the middle of a snow storm, he figures out the problem, had the part at home, so he drove home and back, he fixed my car, and to top it all off, he said "no charge now get your ass to school before your late".
Chuck my friend I will miss the way you would laugh every time I called you old man, your beautiful heart in the way you cared about every person that entered your life, and how you always seen the best in people. Thanks for seeing it in me... You may be gone but you will never be forgotten..

I am so sorry for your loss Holly and all of Chuck's loved ones!Chuck was a very good man and will be greatly missed by myself and many others! He leaves me with many good memories! He stuck up for me in some tough times when I was young, named my daughter Samantha, bailed me out of car trouble too many times to count and some other bad situations! For more then 30 years, he was a good friend, confidant, protector, uncle to my kids, mechanic...!! I am positive he did a lot of these same things for many other people!I am sorry I didn't get to see you one last time on this earth! I will take peace in knowing you knew I loved you dearly! Our loss is heavens gain, as Holly told me Chuck accepted Christ as his savior!! I love you Chuck and miss you and will miss seeing your smiling face and your big hugs from now until I see you again in heaven someday!!
