Gramie -

I am so sorry that I didn't know - no one called any of us........I love you and will miss you always. Jack loves tacos just as much as you did. Josh still has the frog that you gave him and Jordan wears the ring Grandpa gave you that you gave to us - she wears it every day. We love you and hope you give Grandpa hugs and kisses from all of us.

Laura, Jordan, Josh and Jack

January 23, 2014 | Kari Chretien - Turner, Maine -- United States

Our family met Virginia at Clover Heath Center as she and our mother shared a bedroom together. Virginia was a very soft spoken and kind lady. We wish we would have had the opportunity to get to know her when she was younger. I bet she was great. Her children were also very kind and brought good spirits with them every day when they visited. We were very sorry to hear of Virginias passing. She is with God now. All the very best to the family. Love and friendship, Bert, Kari, Rachel and Joshua Chretien

January 15, 2014 | Steven Dostie - Bowdoinham, Maine -- Sag

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very special person. I remember her and Phil dropping by the shelter so many years ago. I think of her every time I pass her former home in West Paris. You are in my thoughts during this difficult time.

Steve

Ginny and Phil were very active in our church
and historical society in West Paris. She was
such a joy to ladies in the church and always
worked diligently on projects. Since she moved away, she would join our ladies when we
would go out for our annual eat-out. We have
always missed her, and will remember her for
being such a gentle lady. We send our thoughts and prayers.

I just heard the news. This guestbook says that I have up to 500 words max to say what I want. I would need thousands of words to tell the Goodwin kids how much I will miss their mom. Ginny was my second mom growing up in Danville. Even though years and distance has kept me away from this wonderful woman and family, I still feel a part of them. Finding out that Ginny passed away took me by surprise. You all are in my heart at this time. Deb if you need anything, please get in touch with me. Steve, Gail, Jay and most of all Deb, I love you all and know that your mom will always hold a piece of my heart. Much love.
Cindi

Please accept my deepest sympathy to Virginia's family. She was such a sweet lady and I know that she will be greatly missed. It was a pleasure when I'd walk into the Candle Shop and she was there. We had some pleasant chats.

January 9, 2014 | Gail Fickett - Lisbon Falls, Maine -- USA

Steve, Gail, Debbie, and Jay:
My sincere condolences on your loss. I always thought highly of your Mom and will remember her fondly. May God grant you His peace at this difficult time.

January 9, 2014 | Linda Agren - Auburn, Maine -- USA

I remember Ginnie working in the Candle Shop on Hotel Road in Auburn during the Christmas Season dressed as Mrs. Claus and handing out her home made donuts, that got eaten mainly by the workers. I had many a wonderful conversation with her. She was what I call a salt of the earth person, honest and genuine. Always devoted to her family, friends and church. She had a loving, caring family which I am sure was her greatest joy in life. She will be greatly missed. I am so glad that I got to know her. She was such an inspirational person. Debbie and Jay, you can be sure she is being pampered in Heaven!

Love, Linda
