Dear family and friends of Stuart this is long overdue i think it was late in 2019 when I was shocked to learn that my friend Had passed on. Stuart was truly one of the kindest most compassionate people I have ever known and this news hit me very hard. I have fond memories of Stuart from his time at the Portland Museum of Art. He was a smart and witty man with a ready smile. He was someone who loved life and lived it to the fullest, and I feel privileged to have known him. My condolences to his friends and family in Maine and throughout the world.

Robert. We were both so saddened to read Stu’s obituary this am. Of course, Stu would write his own obit and a good one. Stu and I (Judy) always traded jokes to see who could laugh the hardest. I will always remember that laughter and our attempts to find the best jokes. PCa is a difficult and long journey. We are still on it. We will miss him.
We were lucky to,have Dana Farber for our care. Take care of yourself Robert.

I met Stuart at a mutual acquaintance's party many years ago. We became fast friends; Stuart sending me funny or art postcards, sometimes from his many trips abroad. I loved his stories, the sparkle in his eyes, his lust for life. He was a talented man and seemed to know how to do everything. I'll always have fond memories of Stuart & our friendship.
