Mike was a real gentleman. I worked for the same congressional committee that Mike did some 40 years ago. He was a real pleasure to work with, and he really knew his stuff. My condolences to his family. RIP.

Mike was a much respected fraternity brother of mine. I will miss him. I did speak by phone to him about a year ago at the VA facility he was living.

My father was a resident of the MVH until he passed in July 2107. Mike and he often had supper together. Mike was always happy to share the table when our family members visited, and always had a smile and a story. Our sincere condolences go out to Mike's family, from the family of Normand Audie

Teal, I was so sorry to read Mike’s obituary and realize he is the first person I actually knew who has died from the virus. My heart goes out to you and your family. You both were such good supporters of the Patten Free Library. I smiled every year when I saw you returning for your summer stay at Birch Point and knew we would have some great conversations over the next few months. I loved catching up on your latest adventures and reminiscing about Hood and the fact I had Mike’s father as a professor there many years ago (about 50 I think!). Even under these circumstances it has made me feel better to remember you both. Savor your treasured memories and wrap yourself in that love and comfort at this time.
