John shined a very warm and very bright light into those of us at Grace Church, Bath, who knew him. His was a friendship I personally cherished and I am sorry that I lost touch with him over the past few years until this sad news reached me.
My condolences to Andrew and Patti, Patty Hay, and the rest of his tight knit family. I'm sure John and Carol will be sorely missed, especially this year, but they will provide wonderful memories as you gather for holidays in coming years.
God rest his soul.
