September 4, 2022 | James H. Kennedy - Byfield, MA -- United States

Thank you to Dr. Anne Goulart for being a small but important part of my family's history. She cared for my wife on September 11, 2002, in Quincy, MA. At the time, my wife would have been about four weeks pregnant, meaning that Dr. Goulart knew of the pregnancy before I did! My wife always wanted "to be sure" of everything, and she got that and more from her doctor. The eventual birth led to the powerful 19-year old young woman that just passed into our kitchen.

My wife took the milestones in her life very seriously and with much love. I know that she would have wanted to express her appreciation for the life of this good doctor. Thank you for the opportunity.

I did not know that Dr. Goulart had passed away. I woke up this morning and checked the internet and it's the first year anniversary of her death. My deep condolences to her family. She looked so young that I didn't realize that she was 8 years my senior. Nonetheless, she was taken at a young age. She was very smart and focused on the process of her work and her life. She simply adored her daughters and her husband. She was very proud of their accomplishments. I admired her clarity and tenacity. She was way ahead of her time. God Bless and take care.

Dear Paul, I am thinking of you as the new year begins. The loss of Anne must be profound. What a great soul she was and I only regret not knowing her better. Even is her own illness she so wanted to help others. We would love to be in touch with you. Love, Marla

Please accept my condolences. I knew Anne as a fellow watercolor painting student in the last few years. She was very talented, very bright, and very generous in sharing her ideas. One day she came to class excited about a new product she had found, a granular powder for sprinkling on wet paint to give it texture snd vary the color. She was able to use it so that it had a magical effect. She showed me how it worked and insisted that i take a sample. She was always a sprightly presence in the classes, wearing her trademark beret and looking like a chanteuse. I wish I could have known her better, and I hope that happy memories of her will give her family comfort at this difficult time.

Anne was my doctor, a kind and gentle, caring person. We were kindred souls in politics, my experiences in college like hers. And my birthday the same exact date as her husband. An admirable woman, Anne. My husband is a physician who also liked and admired Anne, having also practiced at Milton Hospital. Farewell, Anne.

Dearest Paul & Family,
Was so sad to see the notice of Anne's passing. It has been a long time since we've connected and had no idea that you had moved - but both Michael and I still remember our brief time together in Puerto Rico and the day he & Anne spent at the pool together with the girls - then whenever you and I connected those memories always came back with real fondness.
It will be hard to think of you without Anne -but so happy that you have your girls and granddaughters to help support you. Our deepest sympathies to you & your family.

Very sorry for your loss, may all your memories comfort you at this time.

October 17, 2019 | Mike Barrett - Lake Oswego , Oergon -- USA.

I had the privilege of meeting Anne as a fellow med school classmate. Liked her so much that I married her sister because she was already attached to Paul. Just one of the greatest human beings I have had the honor to know.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of an incredible woman. She was my doctor for over 30 years. It was always a pleasure to see her.

Dear Paul, Katie and Laura,

I was so sorry to hear about Anne. I have such fond memories of the "old days." She once came to our house at the crack of dawn to remove Jesse's stitches so we could leave for our trip and not worry about seeing a doctor in the DR. When we were driving Jess and Laura to horse camp for the first time, she told me that the morbidity rate for horseback riding was high than motorcycle racing...not a calming thought for a nervous mother...but we had a great time laughing about it. Good memories of a really good woman. Love, Elaine

Dear Paul,
I was saddened to read about Anne's passing this AM in the Boston Globe. Although, I had not seen her in 30 years, I always felt that she (and you) represented strong ideals that stem from those wishful times back in Eugene. I hope that her memory brings you happiness along with the satisfaction of a life well lived. I remember your wedding in our home back then very fondly. Anne was always a force to be reckoned with, complemented with a heart of gold. Nice to read that you are blessed with grandkids and good friends.
Much love,
David (617) 942-2992 david.j.schuller@gmail.com

October 13, 2019 | Evelyn Dunphy - West Bath, Maine -- USA

I met Anne only two years ago in a watercolor class, and felt a deep kinship with her from the beginning; we barely had time to get to know each other, and I will remember her always. My deepest sympathies to each one of her family.
With love,
Evelyn

I only knew Anne as a fellow painter and will miss her presence in our watercolor class. I wish her family will find comfort in the love they share, and in their memories of Anne.
