I knew Richie back in Bay Ridge Brooklyn when we both attended Our Lady of Angels School.
I spent many a pleasant day in his house reading comic books and just hanging out together. I mention those days in my book "A Bay Ridge Life" with fond memories. He was a good guy as were his brothers Frank and Peter. Bob Lane

I am so sorry to learn of Dr. Giustra's death. When we lived in Brunswick, he was a neighbor and his son Matthew was a friend and school mate of my son Geoffrey Schramm. The times we would come back to Brunswick for a visit, we would always say that's the Giustra's house where Matt lived with his parents as we came down Pleasant Street.The time we lived in Brunswick and the Giustra family are fond memories that will stay with us.

I worked for him for more than ten years. I will always remember our staff meeting, that were always fun and informative. He loved it when we sang, even if it was way out of tune!! My heartfelt sorrow to Karen and the children. I will miss him. Rest in Peace, Rich.

It was my privilege to have Rich as a friend and racquetball partner for a number of years until I left Maine for three years in 2016. Almost always after our games we would have coffee and a pastry in various local restaurants. I will miss him.

Dr Giustra the man that for the last 45 years has been the reason I have the use of my left arm! I will never forget the kindness he showed to the frightened 9 year old girl with a shattered elbow. Two surgeries and the arm my parents were told would never have full range of motion remains fully mobile today. The man was genius and he will always be remembered by me as a hero!
One of the most compassionate humans I’ve ever known. So sorry to hear the news of his passing! My heart felt condolences to his family!

I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Giustra's passing. I used to live 2 doors down from where he and his family lived and I used to babysit his kids. He was a kind man. Prayers to his family.

Growing up I spent a lot of time at the Giustra house. I always felt happy when I was there. Dr. Giustra had a big smile every time I saw him and I have many memories of him from all those years ago.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I am sending love and strength to the family and hope that your memories of him will bring you some peace.
