Dear Sharon and Andrew,
I was so sorry to read the news in the Bangor Daily News about Ed. When I first moved to Crestmont Rd I was introduced by the Smith's next door to Ed, Jennifer, and you Andrew and the later on to you Sharon. And of course, everyone knew good ole Spike. Jennifer used to hang out at the house from time to time as well and we had nice talks. Ed was very generous in helping Doris and Gordon and he helped me out with around the house things like getting rid of a dead old skunk that had perished in my back yard. It was s a sad day when you left the hood. I did not realize that you had moved back to Maine. Would have loved to see you again. My deepest sympathy to you both. Pat Martin, 28 Crestmont Rd

I was so very sorry to read that Ed has passed. I will never forget the smile on his face whenever he looked at you. His love for you was obvious. I hope your memories will bring some comfort. Ed was a wonderful person.
