I am so sorry to see that we have lost both Regis and Mamie. I enjoyed so much the time I got to spend with them when they came south to MS to visit relatives but lost touch in the last several years. I thought of both of them again just a few weeks ago when my husband and I spent some time in the beautiful state of Maine. Just loved them both. They were a delight to all of us. Regis and Mamie were truly heroic in their work to keep alive the Santa Claus Fund. I worked with them on it for a number of years while an editor at The Times Record. They brought joy to thousands of local children and were an absolute delight. Such wonderful people. My deepest condolences.

Regis is my uncle from a previous marriage. He served as my best man when I got married 53 years ago. He was a good man and will be very much missed.
