September 21, 2013 | Jeffrey M. Bernard - Concord, MA -- USA

To the family of Ken Foisy,

I'd like to express my condolences. My father Jim Bernard was a close friend to Ken and they were fellow athletes at LHS and I have many newspaper clippings about both.

My mom just passed away last month on Aug 17 and Jim passed in 1995. But the name of Ken Foisy is well known to me and my brother Dana. I recall seeing some films of the 1947 champship football season in basement of Paul Cote on Shank St. just down the street from where my Aunt Jeanne (Green) Hood still lives.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey M. Bernard

Oh, my gosh, where do I begin. I am sorry to all my cousins for their loss. I met Ken when he was married to my cousin Pat. I knew his problems, but he was alway kind to me when I spent weeks in Maine as a teenager. He was funny, loved my dad and we loved him. He was a kind and generous man to me and my family and I will think of him always with affection. I had the priviledge to see him as an adult twice and both times I was glad I did.

You are gone but are far from forgotten. Though you were not my family by blood, you were my grandfather by heart always. You were always available to me and my family as a grandfather should be. We love you you with our whole hearts and souls. I'm comforted knowing that you are in a better place with my Memere fern. Watch over us often and know that you have made my life full of love. We love you always.

March 2, 2013 | Lisa Masselli Bussiere - Raleigh, NC -- USA

I've been so saddened by the news of Kenny's passing. He was a very special man and meant the world to our mother Fern Masselli. Although they never married, he spent 25+ years devoted to her and being a "step father" to us. I am going to miss him.

Kenny Jr., Linda, Kelsey and the rest of your family, I am so very sorry for your loss and send my deepest condolences. Your father, is no longer suffering illness and is now with his love. I will keep you all in my prayers.

March 2, 2013 | Steve Hussey - Wales, Maine -- USA

Lynda and Ken, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I can't begin to tell you of all the fond memories I have of things we did over the years at the Elks. Our trips to Red sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins were times that I will always remember. Please convey my condolences to Ryan also. Your father was a true friend .
