Dear Nikki, Parker and Mason,
I’ve looked unsuccessfully several times for a card that might help me express my sincere condolences to you and your loved ones. Rather than letting even more time pass, I’m writing now to say how much sadness I have felt since learning from Claudia and Chip of Alan‘s death. It is truly a heartbreaking situation. I can only tell you that I join with you in sympathy and sorrow and hope you are each aware of how many people liked, loved, respected and admired Alan. I am one of them.
I’ll be thinking of you all often during the weeks and months to come. I wish you all the healing that will eventually be possible and will always keep the memory of Alan close in my mind and in my heart.

Alan - U were the best husband Father Friend and Son U were actually a son in law but I prefer son as that is what u were to me. Loved u so much. I was fortunate enough to know Alan through Nikki and spent time with Alan over many years(including being crushed by him in corn hole)
Alan’s relationship with Nikki was a beautiful thing to see-they were always so happy to be with each other.
When I saw him with Parker and Mason,his unconditional love for them was also very evident and beautiful.
Alan was kind and gentle and always had a smile on his face. I am so sorry for your loss. Alan will be missed by all of us.

My heart aches for the family Alan was so sweet and loved watching his boys play sports I had the pleasure of sitting with Nikki and Alan at many football games.
