Dear Garnett and Family,

Nancey was an inspirational friend to me. I remember her attending creating your website workshop at CEI in Wiscasset. It was in 2007 and I was unemployed and down on my luck. Nancey graciously paid for my luncheon, and said, you can get it next time!

A very generous, encouraging and leader type who gave her ALL every day to the world!
I feel like she was a mentor to me even though our contacts were brief. She was a ray of light and heaven is brighter with her shining on us. It comforts me to know that my late husband is there with her in the celestial orchestra...he played cello and bass guitar; her flute playing must have also been exquisite. Garnett, email me anytime. I would love to meet you. She raved about you!!

I am completing Portland History Docent training and can thank Nancey for being a muse for our mutual love of museums!! We shared a dear friend in common, Jennifer Colby, who is serving on Norlands Board and was my first friend when I moved here in '02.

Nancy was and is an amazing women. I feel bad that I just found out of her passing. Nancy loved life and helped so many weather she new it or not. Thank you Nancy.
