I have fond memories of Rick from our spiritual paths first crossing in 1988. His smile and laugh were welcoming. He touched many people throughout his life, and the world is a better place because Rick was in it.

May his family find peace and comfort during this time.

I am so very sorry to learn about Rick's passing. I worked with Rick for 17 years at the State of Maine. He was very smart when it came to computers.

He always had a smile everywhere he went, and his laugh was unmistakable. I will miss him very much.

My deepest condolences go out to his family. I so much want to attend the memorial service, but I am working during that time period on Saturday.

I will be praying for everyone. Thank you Rick for all the memories you gave me.

I'm shocked to discover my good friend Rick Downe of his passing @ 11:45 pm tonight. He IS a very good friend of mine. Another wake up call that old age is becoming well upon me. He was very good to me when we were employed helping me along the way with his great caring and understanding nature. An advanced thinker that well realized the atmosphere we had to endure daily. He will and shall always remain my great friend and brother. I am just beside myself to discover this on an evening I myself am alone. I will keep him with me daily and always. A very good guy indeed. Hopefully I'll see you on the other side buddy.
